1

Header and date

Same subject line every day, so it's easy to filter, forward and search. One report per morning, only on days with new leads.

2

Summary bar

How many new leads and how they break down by score. If it says 0 Excellent, you can skim; if it says 3, somebody should call.

3

Score and label

1 to 5. A 5 names your products by DOT item number in real quantity. A 4 is a strong match with less volume or a less direct item. A 3 is worth a look. 1s and 2s don't get sent.

4

Source, letting date, county, and the Updated flag

The DOT, when the project lets, and where it is. Updated means an addendum or re-advertisement changed something since you last saw it, and the reasoning tells you what.

5

Project title and one-line description

The DOT's own project name, then the work in plain English. Enough to decide whether it's your kind of job before reading further.

6

Why it matched

The line items and quantities LeadSifter found, in italics, straight from the schedule of items. This is what your estimator reads first, and it's why a 3 is honest about being a 3.

7

Source links and footer

Every lead links to the DOT's proposal and plans. The footer is where you change products, states and recipients, or reply to a human.
